You realize this is more than the President of the United States earns...

Never mind that the Chief is making $150,000 more than the Chief of Police in LA

or that the City Council Members who are PART TIME employees get paid $100,000/ yr.

Good Toys Gone Bad

As was said in A Christmas Story "...Ralphie you'll take an eye out with that thing..." I find the history of Toy recalls fascinating... There are some real classic boo boo's out there. For example this one from Mattel. Its the Sonic Blaster! The Air Bazooka strong enough to knock down a target 20 feet away.

Problem was that the blast would knock out your ear drum at the same time. At +160 decibals, you put that great toy right up against your ear and KABOOM... What Mom? Sorry I cant hear you.
